The identity of the hotel
It was in 1992, the year the Albertville Olympic Games were organized, that the hotel was opened. At that time it was part of the “Primevere” hotel chain. In 2006 Jérôme Lorin, former employee of the ACCOR group for nearly 20 years, became the happy owner of the premises. In 2002, he already bought a hotel from the same group in Claix, near Grenoble, which he had already renamed “La Clé des Champs”.

The hotel and restaurant will have a new look but it was only in 2015, following his meeting with Agostino Soave, current Director, and the common vision they have of the hotel and restaurant industry that was born the project to make the establishment an essential place in the region.
Jérôme and Agostino immerse themselves in the territory, identify the needs and expectations of customers and make the following observation:
“… For identical quality of service, the choice of establishment is made according to the quality of the catering offer. However, it is difficult to bring outside customers to a hotel restaurant because very often, in the collective unconscious, we think that the restaurant is reserved for hotel guests. Furthermore, it is rarely visually identifiable or, more generally, hotel restaurants affiliated with a chain generally have a bad image.”

Jérôme and Agostino also verify that: “customers are looking for a restaurant with cuisine with a strong identity, seasonal, local, homemade, with a diversity of choices and quality, smiling and efficient service”.
It is therefore quite natural that they decide: “We will satisfy our customers and offer them, with the vineyard as a common thread, a regional, 100% homemade and seasonal cuisine which will be inspired by Savoy – Piedmont with a welcome as well as the service: warm, professional, smiling and elegant ".
No sooner said than done !

Since 2016, as Dominique, a collaborator for over 20 years now, proudly says: “the hotel and restaurant have been fully air-conditioned, the facades of the hotel have been repainted in a red reminiscent of the colors of the flags of Savoy, of Piedmont and wine, the rooms and bathrooms have been renovated, the reception reconceptualized with the aim of offering more proximity and warmth.
But still, for greater security the establishment has been completely fenced.
As a sign of our commitment, we were the first hotel in the region to install 1 fast charging stations for electric vehicles.

As for the restaurant, it has dressed itself in its finest assets and taken on its own identity. It is now called “ Le Vine Gourmand » after having been reorganized and enlarged. It offers Savoy-Piedmont inspired catering,
“There are no extended cards with us! but daily specials and suggestions that are renewed every day according to the seasons and the inspirations of our kitchen brigade!!! We have even gone 100% homemade to the point of making our own pasta, tagliatelle, papardelle and ravioli! A pure delight! »
The wines offered to you leave a lot of room for vintages from throughout the Alps and the icing on the cake is that you can taste two vintages labeled “Domaine du Cep Gourmand”, made in association with Domaine De Méjane.
The establishment, under the leadership of Agostino, has taken on new growth and is now, among other things, the reference hotel for wine growers in the region.

“We still have many projects to further improve the quality that we owe you” Agostino and Jérôme like to say. But you won't know more for the moment... We are all impatiently waiting for you to build a new page in our history with you.

Sabrina Soave, an emblematic figure of the establishment since its arrival in 2017, played a central role in the creation of a unique atmosphere within the team. She initially joined our team as housekeeper and receptionist, but quickly her commitment and dedication led her to occupy the position of Assistant Director.

Sabrina and her husband form a dynamic duo which goes beyond the simple management of the establishment; they are the attentive guardians of this large house which welcomes its guests like as a group. Their commitment goes well beyond the operational aspects of the hotel industry. They truly instilled a soul at this establishment, ensuring that as soon as you walk through its doors, you feel a warmth human and conviviality sincere.

This sense of in family and community extends to the entire team, customers included. In this environment, warmth and support are fundamental values. Everyone looks out for each other, whether colleagues or guests. It's a big family where the atmosphere warm and attention to detail create a truly unique experience.
